Daniel Acar & Daniel Stahl
It all began with a trainee of Daniel Acar in 2007 at my design agency. A few weeks later he joined me as a helper for the Le Mans Classic event. Over the following years he was my fellow worker during his high school time. We visited the 24 Hours of Le mans and the Silverstone Classic event a few times together. Now, "Big Daniel" is a Volkswagen fellow worker and keeps the tradition to be at Le Mans 24 Hours as a big help each year since. Daniel Stahl first helped me out during the little exhibition in the Schlosspark Weinheim in 2009. Since many years now, Daniel is the first crew member to rebook for the Le mans 24 Hours - and often helped at national events like the foto shows, at Hockenheim Historic in 2013. A great shot. |

Steve Bradford Best and Iain Mansell
Steve Bradford Best and Iain Mansell took Dorrit and Uli in the middle at Le Mans 24 Hours race 2014. The friendship started when the four first met at Le Mans - in 2005 - when Uli started his new "life" at Le Mans. After a visit of Steve and Iain in Weinheim and after at least a dozen meetings at Goodwood and Le Mans - the walls from Steve and Iain must be filled with Le Mans memories - mostly Porsche or Zytek memories I assume - some surely painted by Uli. And it does not seem that the walls are filled already - see the silver bags in the hands of Steve and Iain. Thank you Iain and Steve for the big support over all these years. |

Hugh Chamberlain
Hugh Chamberlain, who lead the two TVR Tuscan 400R to a double finish in GT2 class in 2004, was rather surprised about this painting of his cars.
We talked about his experience as a team manager of more than twenty years at Le Mans and I, again, learned a lot about Le Mans.
Thank you Mr. Chamberlain! |

Audrey, Nicolas, Arthur, Stéphanie et Hervé
What a great friendship we all share. Audrey was my very first french helper. In 2006 she bought a print for her dad - and since that we share a great family friendship. Her help lead me to Paris Retromobile. Nicolas her husband and little Arthur are next to Audrey here in the foto at Weinheim in December 2013. Stéphanie and Herve are great friends, which I always met at Le Mans until Herve was my stand neighbour at Paris Retromobile in 2008. We had a lot of time to exchange wonderful race stories than, and so a friendship with Stephanie and Herve blossomed. |

Jane & Geoff Doughty
... are the reason why I exhibit at England at all. Without Janes invitation to visit the Silverstone Classic in 2005, I would never have made it to show my artwork in the UK. The friendship between us is long and deep, and we can tell hundreds of stories already. A real familiy feeling when we all meet. |

He is a part of Uli´s Racing Legends. We share a deep friendship and enjoy the hard work with the paintings and prints as much as we love a good DVD and a glass of red wine together. You cannot find a better friendship. The word petrolheads is not strong enough for the two of us. |

Sir Stirling Moss
At Le Mans 2011 I was introduced by Andy Prill to Sir Stirling Moss. A wonderful moment as you can guess. So to round up this wonderful moment and to honour Stirlings very last lap in a race car, I painted this Targa Florio scene. It shows exactly the Porsche 718 RS 61 which he drove at Targa Florio in 1961 but also at this years Le mans 24 hours historic race, just a few hours before the "real" race with the 2011 LMP1s and GTEs. This last drive finished a magic motorsport carreer behind the wheel. A lovely memory for all Stirling Moss fans! Original sold. Sorry! Reproductions are available in all sizes named here on this website, but of course limited to an edition run of 500 prints only. |

Gordon Murray
When I was a teenager at Hockenheim, I had paintings of race cars with me in the pit lane.
In 1980 on a Thursday in late July or early August before the Grand Prix of Germany my father and I had cheap tickets for the day of arrival of the teams at Hockenheim.
I had two paintings with me and a Grand Prix book to get hold of signatures of the people I admired that much.
One of the great men that signed my book in 1980 came walking into my tent on Saturday this year at Le Mans: it was Gordon Murray (above on the left). One of the biggest names in F1 and motor racing. What a great moment! |

Johnny O´Connell
No real Le Mans 24h without meeting Johnny O´Connell and Steve Wesoloski at my stand.
This year the whole Corvette team signed my "Pit Stop" painting. Robin Pratt organized that all GM Racing and Pratt & Miller team members signed my giant print of 70 x 40". Great! |

David Piper
A great moment at Le Mans 2007: David Piper visited my stand and signed my painting of the Porsche 917 and Ferrari 512 at Le Mans in 1970. The painting is named "A Tribute to David Piper". I hadn´t expected to meet David Piper at Le Mans, but a friend and owner of the 917 #25 gave David Piper a hint to visit our stand. Thanks again to both great sportsmen! |

Jörg Stehr
...he is the man who introduced me to Le Mans. Without him, I would neither exhibit at Le Mans, nor would I display my paintings in the way I do. My best friend, born nearly the same day as I am. Legendary trips to Le Mans and Goodwood will always be in our hearts. |

Sir Jackie Stewart
One of the greatest moments in my life. The first motor sport event I ever witnessed was the German Grand Prix 1971 at the Nürburgring. Jackie Stewart and Francois Cevent were racing through the woods of the Nordschleife.
I will never forget the image shot from the point of view of the TV helicopter showing the track form the above. I watched that race with my whole family on the screen of my grandfather's TV back in 1970 or 1971. You can understand that having that background meeting Sir Jackie Stewart at Silverstone was an indescribable moment for me. He signed the original that we are holding in our hands (photo) and we talked for a short period of time about the painting and the print that I gave him as a present. Those were moments in my life that I surely will never forget. |
